project AIDA - final story

Over the few weeks of working on the story and voice acting ive done. Im working and finalising on the story of the game where i discuss with my team memeber georgi to see if he like the idea of the sotry and how i connected everything toghether which find the story very effective to connect the story together and fits well with the dialogue of the characters and the development of the game. final story outcome The player takes on the role of an engineer named Ethan Williams. He is on the ship. “USSOC Ananke”. Ship with its only purpose to research and discover ancient technology and artifacts. The purpose of the main character being on this ship, is to explore a region where he discovers a clue of the location of his missing daughter. Where the main character felt for 3 years his only child supposedly perished in their house fire. unwilling to accept his daughter’s death, Ethan descending into alcoholism, drowning his sorrows in a bar, his ex-wife being a detective discovered the evidence of their daughter being alive through stealing files that points to realisation that she is alive somewhere in a different region. The journey begins as he discovers an unknown and mysterious satellite, orbiting around the planet. The rest of the crew is assigned to explore and gather information about the satellite known as “Black knight”. While the crew and the main character is exploring the satellite, their radios are not working, and weird, unexplainable things are beginning to happen on the ship. It is in Ethan’s hands to find out what is going on. Ethan begins investigation on his own, as he starts to notice disturbances and unexplainable events happening on the ship. After following the leads left by his crew, he soon realises that somehow, the unknown satellite. Is a part of a government experiment into consciousness by using the Die Glocke (the bell) system and AI system and analyse human consciousness which to handle thousands of consciousness the system needed a stabled core that was pure and clean. A child, Ethan’s daughter, when confronting the bell Ethan has a choice to save his daughter but there is a risk she will die or leave her with Die Glocke.
